I'm a distant friend of Leon's ... any information on his unsolved murder would be appreciated. Who did it? Why was he killed? Leon was murdered Feb. 13, 1971. His name was Leon Kokoris and he was on board a ship when this happened; found dead in the library. As the story goes, he became aware of black marketing of food from the ship and was going to expose it. Also, some chaplain who supposedly could help, was immediately transferred.
