First Harpoon launch. It was a clear sunny day off the San Diego Coast. I was one of the lucky ones on the O-10 level. Its hard to forget the sound it made leaving the starboard tube. Roughly 5 seconds after the launch an F4 Phantom screamed over the aft end at 100 ft in hot pursuit. I felt proud and priviledged that day.
