Being assigned to the USS Isle Royale while waiting for the Long Beach to return from Westpac...then my first "at sea period"...going all the way from Long Beach to Seal Beach to off load weaposns... Mare Island...my first WestPac... I also played guitar for the "ships band"...I have alot of photos taken onboard her.
