The best cruise I've taken was aboard CGN-9 when we went around the world (in180 days) in company with CVN-65. I've never made so many port calls in one deployment. When Enterprise headed to Norfolk, we transited the Panama Canal to get back to San Diego. Anyone who made that deployment saw more liberty in one shot than any other.
